Afrobeats superstar Davido is bringing his latest album, Oriadé, home to Lagos with a spectacular three-night residency at the National Theatre as he celebrates 15 years in the music industry.
The singer, whose real name is David Adeleke, announced “Oriadé: The Residency”, scheduled for December 17, 18 and 19, 2026, at the newly remodelled National Theatre in Iganmu, Lagos.
Davido made the announcement on September 18, describing the event as a homecoming after years of performing for audiences around the world.
“LAGOS!!! We bringing it HOME! 15 years of madness and there’s nowhere I’d rather be,” the singer wrote while unveiling the residency.
Davido Brings ‘Oriadé’ to Lagos
The three-night event will mark the first live presentation of Davido’s latest album, Oriadé, in Nigeria.
The album, released in July 2026, features collaborations with artists including Black Sherif, Mayorkun, FOLA, Leon Thomas, Aya Nakamura, Llona, NO11, JAZZWRLD and GL_Ceejay.
According to reports surrounding the announcement, Davido is expected to combine songs from Oriadé with some of the major records that have defined his 15-year career.
The residency is also being presented as a celebration of the relationship between Davido and Lagos, the city where his career developed after his breakthrough with “Dami Duro.”
Tickets Set to Go on Sale
Fans hoping to attend the three-night event will not have to wait much longer. Davido announced that tickets are scheduled to go on sale on September 25, 2026, while members of his 30BG community will receive first access through a presale.
The announcement comes shortly after Davido’s appearance at the 2026 AFRIMMA ceremony, where his album 5IVE won Album of the Year.
The singer has also released the music video for “On The Road,” featuring footage from his international performances and travels, adding another layer to the celebration of his journey.
