British singer Robbie Williams has told fans in Peru that he hopes to return soon after his second scheduled concert in Lima was cancelled on September 24. Following the cancellation, Williams went outside his hotel and performed brief excerpts of “Feel” and “Angels” for fans who had gathered there.
Second concert cancelled after venue closure
Williams had been scheduled to perform two nights at Arena 1 Park in Lima as part of his Britpop Tour. His first concert, held on September 23, went ahead, but the following night’s show was called off after the municipality of San Miguel ordered the venue closed.
The closure prevented organisers from staging the second performance as planned. The concert promoter, One Entertainment, said the date would be rescheduled and that further information would be announced after coordination with the singer’s team.
Singer meets fans outside hotel
After the cancellation, Williams stepped out to greet fans waiting outside his hotel. He sang short portions of “Feel” and “Angels,” while some fans recorded the unexpected performance on their phones.
Williams also wore a Peru national football team shirt bearing his surname. He expressed regret that he had been unable to perform the second show and told fans, “I’m heartbroken not to have this second concert. We’ll be back soon,” according to local media reports.
Ticket holders await rescheduling details
The promoter confirmed that the cancelled concert would be rescheduled, but the report did not provide a new date. Ticketmaster said it would send updates to ticket buyers using the email address registered with their purchase.
Fans who bought tickets are advised to monitor messages from the ticket provider and official announcements from the promoter for information about the replacement date and any ticket arrangements.
Peru appearance forms part of Latin American tour
The Lima performances were part of Williams’ 2026 Latin American tour supporting his album Britpop. The singer had arrived in Peru from Bogotá, where he had recently performed, and his first Lima show included songs from across his career, including “Let Me Entertain You,” “Rock DJ,” “Feel” and “Angels.”
The cancelled second date interrupted the planned two-night run in Lima. Williams’ brief performance outside the hotel gave some waiting fans an opportunity to see him, while the promoter’s rescheduling announcement left ticket holders waiting for details of the next concert date.
